SHEMESH

SHEMESH is crafting its blend of Neo-Soul and Jazz, with Rock, Gospel and some classical music influences.
They are available for booking, as a band and as a duo (see videos below).

They released a first duo EP “Connecting” in September 2025, celebrating with a mini-tour in Berlin, and are now getting ready to publish their first album as a band.

(a take which was not selected to be featured on the actual EP… the selection was tedious!)

After a first and very promising vocal session with engineer-producer Brian Trahan in Berlin last January (video below), Daniel and Shahar began working with producer Daniel Harlev on Shemesh’s first studio album. Two days of recording took place with the band, in Berlin Kreuzberg in February 2025. More recordings followed in Israel, and then again in Berlin. Some mixing will be happening this week month in Poland!

Shemesh is a Musical Experience. The acquaintance between two extra-terrestrial artists with an amazing chemistry:
Vocalist extraordinaire Shahar Abergel, and the ever-enchanting magician Daniel Schwarzwald on piano, unveil their own songs.
Shemesh is like a musical nuclear reaction, where Neo-Soul particles are split into finer elements such as Jazz, Pop and classical music (among others). BEWARE!: Through the fission of a Pop atom, the audience is left feeling lighter, more joyful, and even deeply emotional.

The duo’s first EP “Connecting” was recorded in Berlin, and is being released progressively in 2025 as promotion for the upcoming debut album.
